Independent power producer, Indian Energy, has announced an agreement with Trishe Developers Private Limited to develop up to 1000MW of wind farms across India by 2016.

The agreement states that Trishe will take on the development of the projects and sell it to Indian Energy once “certain development milestones” are reached.

The project is expected to complete 300 MW by 2013, a further 350 by 2014 and the remaining 350 by 2016.
