Japan is planning to host a ministerial conference about the nuclear disaster at the Fukushima Power Station last year.

The Japanese Government wants to share more of the lessons it learned from the accident at TEPCO’s power station with the international community.

Ministers will also discuss the progress of international efforts in strengthening nuclear safety.

The UN’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency will co-host the Fukushima Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Safety, which is planned for December 2012.
