The National Museum of Liverpool was awarded Carbon Champion of the Year earlier this month in recognition for reducing their carbon footprint.
A customer of energy consultancy, TEAM, it scooped the award at The Merseyside Environment Awards following coming joint top of the CRC performance league table last year.
TEAM has been working with the museum to help reduce their energy consumption and improve its heating and cooling efficiencies. The Museum uses the consultancy’s system to keep track of its energy consumption and help identify opportunities to reduce carbon emissions and costs.
Paul Martin, Managing Director at TEAM said: “We have seen National Museums Liverpool make remarkable progress in energy efficiency and this award is a result of their hard work.”
The final awards ceremony took place in Liverpool on Thursday 17th May.
