The Green Consultancy is adopting a novel way of encouraging customers – current and potential – to visit its new website, with an early Christmas present of £1,000 worth of consultancy for three lucky visitors.

The website has been remodelled to show how the company’s Intelligent Energy Services cover the full spectrum of activities, Total Energy Management, that are needed to manage energy consumption and related risks effectively. Managing Director John Treble explained: “Over time, as a business grows and expands its range of services, websites can get a bit disorderly. We thought it was time to review what we were telling our online visitors.

“What we’ve done now is to build the website around our rigorous, scientific approach to energy and environmental improvement. Customers have a right to know how improvements will be measured and what they can expect from a service provider. Of course, no professional website would be complete without details of how it all works in practice so we have a number of case studies to show what we actually deliver!”

The consultancy packages to be won can be used to cover health checks on Building Management Systems (BMS) or boilers, to carry out a first-level site survey, or alternatively used as part of a more extensive programme of consultancy.

The new website is part of an overall review of communications by the consultancy. “We’re becoming an online world,” notes The Green Consultancy’s Client Services Director Michael Webb. “So we spent some time researching how best to communicate with customers electronically.”

The new website is part of that and so is the launch of TGC’s new electronic briefing called Insights. “People are bombarded by emails and industry newsletters today,” says Michael. “Each edition of Insights will contain practical advice on a single subject and we believe that readers will find them informative and useful.”

The competition for the free consultancy package remains open till the end of November, with the winners being announced before Christmas. To enter, just visit the website at: www.greenconsultancy.com and click on Prize Draw for full information.
