At the end of 2013, Alan Aldridge, ESTA’s Executive Director, will be retiring following 15 years in which the association membership has grown by 100%, it’s influence in national and international standards, government and regulation has expanded dramatically and ESTA has been established as a key partner in achieving demand-side energy savings.

A new Director is to be appointed into an environment where:

  • Energy cost and availability are mainstream topics for all citizens, organisations and countries
  • The internet has fundamentally changed our approaches to sourcing information, marketing and energy management services
  • In a crowded market, customer confidence in the integrity and capability of members is paramount to successful business

Applications are now invited from individuals who can demonstrate the skills and capacity to take on the exciting challenge of taking ESTA forward to its next stage of development.
