Spanish wind turbine maker Gamesa has sold a 25.5MW wind farm in Greece to a local power operator.

Greek business EMV – owned by French natural resources promoter Eren – bought the Kithaironas wind farm (pictured) in Thivas (Thebes). The farm’s 30 turbines are dotted about a mountain range.

Last year in November, Gamesa was one of eight European firms along with DONG Energy and Vestas to call for a legally binding renewable energy target of 30% in the EU.
