Gamesa has won an order to supply turbines for a 68MW wind farm in Brazil.

Under the agreement with developer Sequoia Energia, the Spanish manufacturer will install and commission 34 turbines at the Guirapa wind project in the state of Bahia.

The turbines, which will be made at Gamesa’s factory in Camaçari in Brazil, are scheduled for delivery next year while the facility is expected to be commissioned during the second half of the year.

Gamesa will maintain the turbines for 15 years.
