A new superfast charging point for electric vehicles has been opened in Cheshire by automotive giant Tesla.

Located at the Park Royal in Warrington, the new Supercharger is capable of providing half a charge in as little as 20 minutes for Tesla’s Model S.

It claims the car can travel up to 285 miles on a single charge.

Paul Gallon, General Manager at The Park Royal, part of the QHotels group said: “We are extremely proud to be one of the growing number of hotels to provide this premium offering for owners of green vehicles.

“We hope the new Tesla Supercharger at the hotel will show people how convenient it can be to switch to electric vehicles.”

The Supercharger is the latest EV charging point to be added to hotels across the QHotels group.
