School kids in Moldova will learn about renewable energy.

Students will be taught about how electricity is generated from mini turbines and how solar ovens are used to cook food.

The “Renewable Energy Sources” course will also give practical advice on using energy more efficiently at school and at home.

In previous years, kids at summer camp were taught how to build photovoltaic panels and wind turbines as well as recycle.

The course is part of the Moldova Energy and Biomass project which is funded by the EU.
