The gas system is balanced today, according to npower’s daily market report.
Langeled flows are lower at 10mcm and LNG send out from South Hook is nominated at 56mcm.
The Interconnector flows are nominated at 31mcm.
The power system’s peak margin is at 13GW with gas-fired generation dominating, covering lower wind feed-in.
Solar forecasts also indicate a 1GW reduction tomorrow from a peak of 4.3GW today.
Greece announced it would default on its debt in June unless it received further support.
Gemma Bruce from npower’s optimisation desk said: “The Greek Finance Minister stated pensions and salaries would be prioritised ahead of creditors in June.”
Brent oil is trading at $65 a barrel (£42/bbl).
