A UK bioenergy materials supplier has won a contract worth €3 million (£2.13m) in Wales.

Saxlund will design, manufacture, deliver and commission two fully automatic fuel handling systems.

They will have an equivalent capacity of 125MW of fuel input.

The system is part of a biomass project – which is expected to have a capacity of 40MW- owned by Danish company Babcock & Wilcox Vølund located in Margam near Port Talbot.

The system is expected to be commissioned in September 2016.
