Our client, a well-known FTSE 100 company, seeks a qualified Strategic Development Manager to help their sales team and business verticals to develop new energy generation, efficiency and energy services propositions and opportunities with our largest business customers. You’ll structure and deliver new and complex deals which may require new working practices, capabilities and/or commercial models.
In addition you’ll define the strategy for the development of capabilities, processes, tools and working practices to deliver new propositions and deals that our client has not offered before.
Ideally you’ll have experience in a similar role within the finance, business development or energy industry. You’ll have an awareness of how to operate in a large business, working across multiple products and delivery business units. You’ll have a good knowledge of energy technologies and solutions for energy generation and efficiency, and should have knowledge of network operations covering transmission, distribution and smart grids.
In addition you’ll demonstrate good financial modelling skills and will be able to write business proposals for board consideration. A strong team player, you take an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and possess a positive attitude in the workplace.
The role is based in London and the salary is competitive with an excellent bonus and company car/car allowance.
