Workers at Brazil’s largest oil company have announced an open-ended strike action.
Petrobras’ employers plan to begin the protest against the state-owned firm on Friday.
In a statement, the union known as Federação Única dos Petroleiros (FUP) stated the protest is against the company’s new business plans.
It added: “It represents impacts across the country such as thousands of job cuts in subsidiaries that put in risk the achievements of the company.”
