Gazprom Export has announced it intends to hold a gas sales auction for Europe this year.
The third auction will take place on 31st August, 1st and 2nd September for supplying Russian gas to Europe during winter 2016/17.
The company stated: “Like in the first auction completed in September 2015, gas will be offered at the delivery points Greifswald, Gaspool and Olbernhau.
“In addition to the above, buyers will have an opportunity to take volumes sold at the auction at Baumgarten and Arnoldstein.”
Earlier this year Gazprom sold 420mcm of natural gas at an auction for Baltic States.
