One of the UK’s largest energy suppliers has partnered with an insurance firm to provide a central heating and boiler service across the UK.

Within the joint venture, npower will be responsible for introducing home services products to customers and Allianz Worldwide Partners will fulfil these services.

This will include fielding a network of highly skilled boiler and heating engineers, including manufacturer’s own staff, to provide with home assistance, maintenance and repair.

The organisations say a wider range of home services products will be developed and launched in the coming months.

“Although we’re starting off working on home services, with the need for new infrastructure to deliver the connected home of the future there’s massive potential for growth in this area.”
