Omar has spent the last 12 years in the energy industry. He has traded throughout Europe for some of the largest energy trading houses in the world, having previously manged over £3 billion in energy. He has founded a number of companies in the energy space – as well as growing them to scale internationally. He then founded Energi Mine on the basis that the energy broking industry was riddled with inefficiencies. Energi Mine uses Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain to help end users trade and manage their energy smarter. He is also a regular commentator on energy issues in the wider media.
