E.ON and Nissan are collaborating to develop electric vehicle (EV) and distributed energy technologies.

They plan to explore opportunities for both pilot activities and commercial offers related to charging infrastructure, vehicle-to-grid services and grid integration, as well as decentralised energy generation and storage solutions.

The partners have already introduced a service in Denmark allowing customers to receive a charging station for their home and a flat energy tariff to charge their Nissan EV in one combined package.

The two companies plan to expand the project to other European countries in the near future.
