‘Energy customers need more transparent and visible data’

Energy suppliers and brokers need to provide their customers with more transparent and visible data.

That’s according to Simon Cox, Director at EY Advisory, who spoke on the panel at the third Energy Live Consultancy Conference (ELCC) at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.

He said energy suppliers, brokers and TPIs need to work out their role in the changing marketplace as data becomes an increasingly valuable commodity.

Mr Cox added these firms should focus on making their services and products easy to use for customers and develop simple systems to give clearer data and better insights in the way customers require it.
