We require an experienced Regional Manager or Sales Manager within the Water industry to support the Business Development Director in the development of new opportunities and the service existing business in the Midlands and the North of England. You will be jointly responsible for a headcount of around 150 colleagues across Operation, Sales & Service, ensuring effective operational and financial performance in the Midlands and the North of England.
Key responsibilities:
- Profit and Loss accountability.
- Leadership of the Midlands and the North of England management team.
- Collaboration with the Operations Support Team to ensure that operations are carried out safely, compliantly and cost-effectively.
- Maintenance of high standards of customer service and care.
- Frequent liaison with our clients.
- Identification of business opportunities.
- Deputise for the Water Director in his absence.
Skills and experience required:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Management qualification
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar
- Proven leadership and operational management success.
- Safety and customer focused.
- Commercially astute.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Evidence of professional development of team members.
- Minimum 10 years’ success in leading the delivery of planned and reactive water network services for UK water companies.
- Thorough understanding of water network operations.
