Flogas Energy to enter UK electricity supply market

It currently provides gas to commercial customers across Britain

Business supplier Flogas Energy has announced plans to enter the electricity supply market in the UK.

The company currently provides gas to commercial customers across Britain but intends to move towards selling electricity too.

Lee Gannon, Managing Director at Flogas Britain said: “For more than 30 years, Flogas has been well-known as a provider of off-grid fuels – including LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and LNG (liquefied natural gas).

“We launched Flogas Energy to extend this trusted service to commercial mains gas customers – both locally and nationally – and following its success the move into electricity feels like the natural next step for us.”

Flogas Energy has appointed Andy Beasley to lead the expansion, who has 28 years of experience in the industry with director roles at Flow Energy, Microgen and Utilita previously.
