Energy switching reached another negative record last month.
The latest figures published by ElectraLink show nearly 91,000 switches completed in May.
This is the second all-time monthly low in 2022, after 94,000 changes of supplier (CoS) completed in January, the report suggests.
In the last few months, soaring energy prices forced many suppliers to leave the market.
The exits have left limited options for customers searching for cheaper energy deals.
The number of energy switches is lower by 78% compared to the same month last year and 29% lower than that in April this year.
