Schneider Electric has been named the World’s Most Sustainable Corporation 2025 by Corporate Knights, making history as the first company to top the ranking twice.
The recognition cements Schneider’s position as a leader in sustainability, energy efficiency and decarbonisation.
“For many years now, sustainability has been at the heart of what Schneider Electric does,” said CEO Olivier Blum. “It’s more than just a corporate goal, it’s the driving force that shapes our business decisions and inspires our employees.”
Schneider’s leadership in sustainability spans across gender diversity in leadership, sustainable R&D investment and its ability to decouple energy consumption and carbon emissions from business growth.
The company’s commitment to linking executive pay incentives to ESG performance also played a role in securing the top spot.
The Global 100 index ranks publicly traded companies based on resource efficiency, employee management and sustainable revenue.
Corporate Knights CEO Toby Heaps said: “Schneider Electric’s position at the top of the Global 100 index is remarkable. No other company has accomplished this twice.”
