The cities are located in Ecuador, Mexico, Montenegro, South Africa, Ukraine and Vanuatu, with projects including energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable mobility

It is a collaboration between ministers and directors of the Governments of Germany and Luxembourg together with the World Bank, European Investment Bank and the Global Covenant of Mayors
