Wrightbus has secured the funding, as it looks to build 3,000 zero-emission buses

Wrightbus will deliver 20 buses to the company this June

The 20 new environmentally-friendly buses will help reduce Transport for London’s carbon footprint as well as harmful emissions to ensure cleaner air for Londoners

The three projects are expected to support nearly 10,000 jobs across the UK and save 45m tonnes of carbon emissions, equivalent to the emissions produced by 1.8m cars over their lifetime
