The big supermarket LED rollout

Supermarket giant Sainsbury’s has replaced age old lighting technology with new low energy LED lights. The company reckons it has saved around 40 million kilowatt-hours from replacing 70,000 LED bulbs in 200 stores. This is thought to be equivalent to the annual energy usage of  more than 4,300 homes.
