A new green technology implemented at the University of Liverpool has resulted in savings of £25,000 and a 23% reduction in energy consumption

It has committed to sell its remaining £2.8m holdings in fossil fuel companies over the next three years

A team of researchers have been granted £6.7 million to find new advanced materials for the energy sector. The government-funded Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) made the investment.
