An energy trade body has elected its first female council member in its 30-year history.

Lisa Gingell has now joined the Energy Services & Technology Association’s (ESTA) council of 18 members as the chair of the events committee.

Also the co-founder of t-mac Technologies, an energy management solutions company, Mrs Gingell will be using her marketing expertise in her new role.

She said: “I have been visiting ESTA events for a number of years now and I regularly share my knowledge at their conferences about how businesses can significantly reduce their carbon footprint. In addition to my strong marketing background, knowing the industry and my first-hand experience of the events puts me in a good place to help to drive ESTA events forward even further.”
