He will join the Utility Team Board with immediate effect. Chris joined the company in December 2019 to develop the Utility Team Energy Services offering, having previously held roles at Bouygues Energies & Services and EDF Energy.
In the last 12 months, Chris and his Energy Services team have successfully brought to market Utility Team’s innovative Energy Efficiency software solution ‘ARC’ and launched an Energy Insights solution that exemplifies Utility Teams data-led approach to Energy Management.
This is in addition to identifying and installing several energy efficiency and renewable generation solutions for clients such as Wasps Rugby and UK Bio Centre.
On his promotion, Chris said, “I am delighted to be joining the board at such a crucial time for our sector and to continue the diversification of our customer offering. The needs of our clients are rapidly changing as more organisations respond to the call for decarbonisation in some of the most challenging trading conditions I have witnessed during my time in the energy industry. The vision and strategy of the business are both thoughtful and innovative, and I look forward to helping shape its future as we continue to bring new technology and services to market and work with our customers to drive positive change”.
Delvin Lane, CEO, said, “Energy Services is a core component of our holistic energy approach and something an increasing number of clients are requesting. The net zero movement is leading businesses to look at their operations and their impact on energy consumption and their carbon footprint. Our Energy Services department has grown rapidly since its inception, and Chris has been driving that growth from day one. He is an incredible asset to the business, and we are looking forward to Chris joining the board and playing a key role in our strategic decision making.”
