Canadian Solar has connected a 10MW solar project to the Chinese grid. China’s Ningxia Power Group funded and built the ground mounted project which is part of a 50MW solar plant in Ningxia province in northwest China.

The project is expected to generate roughly 13 GWh and reduce CO2 emissions by 18,900 tons a year.
