Latin American firm Sunco Capital commences solar projects in Spain

On completion, the 83MW projects will power around 50,000 houses and reduce carbon emissions by 35,000 tonnes annually

Sunco Capital, a Latin American investment company, has commenced construction of two solar power plants of total 83MW capacity in Spain.

The projected energy output could power around 50,000 Spanish households, along with reducing 35,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

Sunco capital will oversee the construction and operation of the renewable assets.

The solar plants will sell power through a long term Power Purchase Agreement with a Royal Dutch Shell subsidiary.
