Clean Energy Cluster for Scotland

Scotland unites renewable suppliers to strengthen its offshore wind supply chain

Scotland’s offshore wind supply chain is set to grow with the launch of the Clean Energy Cluster.

This new initiative from Scottish Renewables, unifies Scotland’s renewable energy suppliers under one national cluster, promoting collaboration and driving innovation.

Membership of the Clean Energy Cluster will include organisations from across Scotland, ranging from ports and large contractors to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The cluster aims to connect and guide suppliers, enhance business development, foster skills training, and increase Scotland’s global competitiveness in renewable energy.

Scottish Renewables was recently appointed by the Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council (SOWEC) to transition the supply chain into a unified national cluster.

The Clean Energy Cluster represents a critical step in positioning Scotland as a global leader in offshore wind energy, contributing to a sustainable and internationally competitive green economy.
