GHG Energy Consultant – London – £50,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our most valued client as an GHG Energy Consultant, delivering as part of our Assured Performance service.The successful candidate will be expected to deliver our mix of strategic, technical and commercial capabilities to implement change across our clients’ portfolios.
Our Client are a leading London based independent carbon, energy and sustainability services provider with over 180 clients consisting of mostly FTSE 350 and large public sector organisations.
Key elements of the role will include:
• Expert knowledge of greenhouse has quantification methodologies including the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1 and Defra’s Environmental Reporting Guidelines
• Undertaking independent greenhouse gas verification exercises in accordance with recognised standards e.g. ISO 14064-3 and ISAE 3410
• Delivering compliance, performance and corporate reports to a high standard
• Energy and sustainability data modelling, as well as in-depth data analysis by applying big data tools
• Adhering to the company’s values of Integrity, Curiosity and Excellence through client engagement and internal stakeholder development

• Working to maintain lasting, profitable relationships with clients by ensuring project objectives are delivered timely and efficiently
• Technical programme and project management for large and complex clients, including leading delivery of our GHG Managed Services

To be considered for this role you will have:

Significant experience in compliance reporting, for example CRC, CCA, ESOS, GHG reporting/ISO 14064-
• Been educated to degree level (minimum grade 2:1) in a relevant discipline (environment and energy related subjects would be an advantage), preferably having completed an MSc or additional external professional qualification
• A proven track record of delivering complex assignments through successful project management
• The ability to analyse complex information in order to assure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
• The ability to effectively communicate with and influence external stakeholders and senior business leaders and a Wider knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks, such as GRI
• Proven leadership and management expertise
• A solution centric attitude
