More jobs in the recycling and low carbon sector will be created in the UK it was revealed today, to coincide with the announcement of £100 million funding for energy efficiency projects from BIS.

Alongside this fund, a plastic bottle recycling plant in Dagenham run by British Closed Loop Recycling set out £12 million expansion plans, with building due to begin in 2013.

Spanish global engineering company Grupotec said it is creating 9 more jobs at its UK solar PV installations business in Richmond, Surrey, while fellow Spanish multinational Power Electronics also unveiled it will open a UK headquarters in September.
