Join our client and become a Solutions Analyst in the Business Development department which is responsible for the development and implementation of new products.
You will be based in central London. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.
Areas of responsibility
Your primary tasks will be to develop operational models to facilitate the delivery of energy products in the B2B market, assess the suitability of potential customers and perform operational tasks to complete the delivery of products. You will support the flexibility commercialisation program, and work closely with international colleagues, particularly in the Product and Business Development teams.
Furthermore, your key duties will be:
- Impact assessments and process changes relating to changes in market regulation
- Concept development of energy solutions / products
- Building business models for virtual power plant solutions
- Dialogue with customers / support to sales staff
You should have a Business or Engineering related degree (or equivalent) at Bachelors or Masters level.
You must be a numerate, analytical and technical individual. You should have a good understanding of the UK energy market, energy prices and regulatory framework.
Experience working in the UK energy market is strongly preferable, specifically related to smart/micro grids and plant optimisation would be advantageous. Experience with sales, customer relations and presentation to management is preferable but not essential.
You must have expert competencies in Microsoft Excel.
You should be reliable, flexible and full of initiative, ready to develop and implement new products and solutions.
