Our client are a leading renewable energy company and energy efficiency company offering energy solutions for public and private organizations. Due to the digitalization of the Energy Industry and they expansion of their UK Portfolio, they are looking to hire a Senior Energy Analyst in their London Offices. This role will be covering all aspects of industrial and commercial energy usage. This is a great opportunity to work for a Global Leader, with endless internal opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Modelling and analysing energy efficiency technologies, design strategies, and controls, related to end uses for retail, commercial and industrial site and buildings
  • Assisting in the assessment of existing system configuration and operation at client sites
  • Conceptual design of energy related projects
  • Further defining of conceptual design from feasibility stage including on-site assessments as necessary
  • Finalising scheme selection
  • Developing heat and mass balance for the selected scheme

Key Skills and Experience

  • a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering (Min 2:1)
  • working knowledge of technologies such as GE/GT CHP, steam, hot water, chillers, HVAC, BMS, LED Lighting, VSD, solar PV, wind turbines
  • Substantive work experience in engineering/energy analysis
  • Demonstrated experience of project management and design
  • Strong analytical skills – to understand complex energy systems, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • High proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project
  • Creativity and initiative – to innovate new projects, develop existing models and apply new analysis techniques
