Well, you know we love a challenge at ELN and for the past few years we have been running our Power Ride cycle challenge for different charitable causes. This September it’s no different but we realise getting to the cycle track we have hired isn’t easy if you’re not in the South East, so we’d like you to do your own “Power ride” wherever you are!
Join us on September 19th across the country and do a ride. Organise one in your company or organisation or simply ask everyone to keep tabs on the distance they do that day just cycling to work. We’d ask you to make a donation of £1 per km you ride. Our target is to get to £10,000 so that’s 10,000km ridden.
All the money is being raised for Arthritis Research who are battling to find a cure or effective treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis and many other conditions. Our Editor and co-founder Sumit Bose lives with RA and knows the debilitating nature of the disease. We also know many more of you out there have some form of arthritis or know someone who does, so please help us help them by doing something that shows the energy sector is as caring as we all know it is!
To get involved just organise your own ride challenge formal or informal and click here to donate. And if you are in the South East or can get to London on September 19th you can join us at the Redbridge Cycle Centre from 10am-4pm. We will try for 3000km this time!
If you wish to join us simply email [email protected] and tell him you’re coming!
Happy riding and come on energy sector help us make a difference!
All money raised will go 100% towards research.
