A new scheme offers small businesses a direct route into opportunities at the Sellafield nuclear site.
Small and medium sized firms can register to be notified when new work packages are published and they can submit proposals on their own or in collaboration with other SMEs.
They can view current and future challenges on the site’s decommissioning programme and submit ideas on how they could solve them.
Martin Chown, Sellafield’s Supply Chain Director said: “We’re really excited about LINC with Sellafield Ltd and its tremendous potential.
“SMEs will get a direct route into work at Sellafield. In return, we will benefit from the innovation, flexibility and fresh thinking that smaller firms can bring to complex problems. What sets this apart is the ability for SMEs to collaborate.”
