DONG Energy estimates its Initial Public Offering (IPO) could value the firm between £8.35 billion and £10.6 billion.
Earlier this month, the Danish energy giant announced plans to launch an IPO of its shares on Nasdaq Copenhagen.
The firm has set the indicative price range from DKK 200 (£20) to DKK 255 (£25.5) per share, implying a total market capitalisation of the firm of up to £10.6 billion.
DONG Energy intends to sell between 15.1% and 17.4% of the company’s existing shares through a partial sell down by the current shareholders.
Claus Hjort Frederiksen, Danish Minister of Finance said: “The IPO is an important milestone in the development of DONG Energy. The company has grown from primarily being a Danish utility business to becoming a growing international company with a leading position in the offshore wind sector.”
