BNL, BNP Paribas Group, is one of the major banking groups in Italy and currently an AB plant is in the Rome headquarters where about the 16% of energy costs are made.
In order to face up the situation, from 2014, it was installed a trigeneration plant of 2 MW with an average availability of 98%.
The thermal vector is used here for heating the environment in the winter period and for air-conditioning during the summer. Regarding the midseason, the presence of the absorber allows BNL to have the right temperature in the data centres obtaining a 40% reduction of the energy unit cost and a save of 100 t of CO2 per year.
