E.ON is building two new solar plants in Italy. Part of the company’s roll out of large-scale solar projects across Europe, the Fiume Santo 2 (FS2) and Fiume Santo 5 will together power an average of 20,000 households a year. Once built in the north-west of Sardinia, FS2 will be E.ON’s biggest plant so far, generating 17.88MW.
