Pozitive Energy and Electric Miles have agreed on a partnership deal and will now work together to bring innovations into the market. The first project will combine Pozitive Energy’s smart tariff and Electric Miles’ smart charging technology to produce a revolutionary solution for EV fleet customers.
Using the new products, EV fleet operators will be able to reduce charging costs while maximising the use of renewable energy, thereby reducing their carbon footprints, a vital step on the road to Net Zero. The new intelligent time of use tariffs will make carbon reporting easier too. It’s expected that a key part of the new tariff will utilise Electric Miles’ expertise in virtual power plants to offer the electricity grid instant supplies to balance the network when needed. Electric Miles has about 20 MWs of Demand Side Response (DSR) contracts with three major Distribution System Operators (DSO) and a patent-pending schedule-based charging platform to optimise charging when electricity is at its most abundant, green and cheap.
