Three Welsh companies selected for offshore wind programme

Ledwood Mechanical Engineering, Mainstay Marine Solutions and CELSA Steel UK have been chosen for ORE Catapult's inaugural F4OR programme in Wales

Three Welsh companies have been chosen for ORE Catapult‘s Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR) programme in Wales.

Ledwood Mechanical Engineering, Mainstay Marine Solutions and CELSA Steel UK are set to participate in the initiative aimed at supporting local firms entering the floating offshore wind industry.

F4OR Wales, in partnership with Floventis Energy, seeks to provide businesses with the necessary skills to succeed in the sector.

CELSA Steel UK, based in Cardiff, focuses on circular and low emission steel production and sees F4OR as an opportunity to expand into renewable energy.

Mainstay Marine Solutions, located in Pembroke Dock, brings extensive experience in boat building and marine services.

Ledwood Mechanical Engineering specialises in mechanical and fabrication services for energy and petrochemical sectors.
