McLean Ross is seeking an experienced, hands-on Sales Director to complement the client’s existing sales and delivery teams and to contribute to growth strategy.

The client is an energy consultancy. They help businesses reduce their energy usage and secure best prices. They audit, design and implement complex energy programmes that combine new efficiency technologies with advanced procurement methods.

The Sales Director will be responsible for selling energy consultancy and procurement services to major UK businesses. The successful candidate will become a member of an experienced and talented team.

They are seeking someone that can provide the following:

  • Solid sales track record of energy procurement services to major UK businesses
  • Network of energy buyers within major UK businesses with energy procurement requirements
  • Reputation for innovation and integrity in the market
  • Understanding of procurement services including risk management, market developments and issues, in order to identify prospective clients’ issues and to explain the technical differentiators and benefits
  • Passionate about sales and energy market issues
