Equinor picks 10 tech start-ups developing energy platforms

They will go through an intensive 13-week mentoring programme in Oslo

Equinor has selected 10 technology start-ups that are developing energy platforms for the future as part of a global accelerator programme for innovators.

They will go through an intensive 13-week mentoring programme in Oslo under the Techstars Energy Accelerator and receive an initial funding of $120,000 (£93,327) for further development of their technologies.

The selected companies, which represent solutions within oil and gas, new business models, digitalisation and renewable energy, will present their solutions to Equinor, its partners Kongsberg, McKinsey and Techstars as well as other potential investors at a demo day.

The firms are Ampaire, Cruz OCM, DeepStream, Interface Fluidics, Opus 12, RatedPower, SafeEx, Sensytec, Versor and Voyager.
