Do you ever feel lost in energy? That’s exactly why TV and text news service Energy Live News is launching its first ever conference on business energy this November in London.

Called Energy Live 2012, the conference sets out to answer the vital questions affecting those managing, buying and procuring energy.

An audience of 500 professionals managing £5billion of energy will hear from some of the biggest names in energy, including Energy Secretary Ed Davey and CEOs from the Big Six suppliers such as npower’s Volker Beckers and Neil Clitheroe of ScottishPower.

The conference which has the support of headline sponsor Ernst & Young, will feature debates, films, audience participation and celebrity guests, as well as giving the audience the chance to hear from top energy names from global multi-national corporations.

Sumit Bose, Editor of Energy Live News said: “We’ve launched this conference to provide something tailor made for our audience of energy managers, buyers and procurement specialists. They’ve told us they are confused by policy, burdened by cost pressures and feel ignored by suppliers. In essence they are lost in energy. We’ll provide the answers by making the sector accountable to the people who manage the energy of the UK.

“We’ve made our reputation at ELN by being different and that’s exactly what we’re going to do with this conference. This won’t be a lecture, it won’t be a conference involving endless powerpoint slides, it won’t leave you so bored you are texting on your Blackberry. We’ll be doing something very special.”

Energy Live 2012 takes place on November 1st at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, London.

Potential delegates will be able to register for the event at www.energylive2012.tv
