It’s perhaps no surprise the winner of TELCA 2014’s Consumer Champion bagged the award for a second year in a row – as the energy consultancy has even named office rooms after its customers.

The revelation came as the chief executive of Make It Cheaper enthused how “chuffed” his team were to win.

Jonathan Elliott who is also a founder of Make It Cheaper said: “It’s all about putting the customer first, at the centre of everything that we do.

“So whether that’s about calling our meeting rooms after customers so that we can remember about the customer, or whether it’s about surveying every customer that uses us and checking that we’re getting it right.”

The consultancy man summed up: “They pay us, so we’ve got to look after them.”
