Recently, two of our leading clients merged in order to help utilities engage more effectively with their customers and deliver energy efficiency programs. As a result, they are looking to hire a Presales Director to cover European business growth in the areas such as Customer Engagement and Energy Efficiency.
The candidate must have the following attributes:
- Understand the business challenges of the marketing and customer care functions and build detailed propositions and a roadmap overcoming those challenges.
- Support of multiple stakeholders and colleagues based across the globe.
- Understanding the details of what we have done for other customers whilst accounting for Asian
customer and market requirements.
- Become an expert in their cloud customer engagement and energy efficiency products and services.
- Close the technical side of the sale. Differentiate our technology, handle technical
objections and educate clients on integrating the technology.
- Prepare and deliver compelling customer workshops with detailed demonstrations of our
products and services.
- Directly managed or coached a small team of high-calibre presales consultants.
- 8 years of client facing presales and/or consulting experience, preferably in
Utilities and/or a software sales environment.
- Deep understanding of and ability to persuasively discuss system integration, data
warehousing, and SaaS technologies
- Has a very good understanding of cloud and CRM.
- Has managed and led technical sale or design and delivery of data integration, batch processing, enterprise web application, and/or web service systems.
