InnoEnergy’s sustainable funding round draws to a close

Europe’s sustainable energy engine will take its last applications for clean innovation support on the 4th of October

InnoEnergy is to close its 2018 funding round for sustainable innovations on the 4th of October.

The organisation, which plays the role of Europe’s sustainable energy engine, says developers of revolutionary, cleantech and sustainable technologies must get their applications in before this deadline.

The investment round looks for ways to transform the future of energy across the continent – since 2011, InnoEnergy has invested €190 million (£171m) and generated an estimated €3 billion (£2.7bn) of sales.

Diego Pavia, CEO of InnoEnergy, said: “It is our mission to accelerate the clean energy transition in Europe. So we are identifying, investing in and partnering with the very best and brightest innovators in the sector to help them scale-up, reduce their time to market and ultimately commercialise their technology.

“Not only do we provide access to Europe’s leading network of cleantech and sustainable energy expertise, but we provide sustained support through marketing and other value-building services.”
