King Charles has reportedly taken a proactive step towards sustainability by reducing the temperature of the pool at Buckingham Palace.
According to The Sunday Times’ source, individuals using the palace pool have noticed a drop in water temperature, significantly cooler than what they were accustomed to.
The source claimed that this change is attributed to King Charles’ personal initiative to reduce the royal household’s energy consumption.
The pool at Buckingham Palace was rebuilt after it was damaged during the bombing of London in 1940.
Senior members of the royal household have access to the pool at Buckingham Palace, but they are required to check in advance to avoid any potential scheduling conflicts with members of the royal family.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the matter.
