GDF Suez is developing 100MW worth of wind farms in Europe. The two new projects – a 48 MW project in Romania and 51 MW in Poland – are meant to help the French firm hit its target of a 50% increase in installed renewable energy capacity by 2015 (on 2009 figures).Gérard Mestrallet, chairman and chief executive said the projects show the “desire to improve the diversification of the GDF SUEZ energy mix and to continue its expansion in promising markets.”
